I do like this product and it does take great selfies, groupies, and videos.
And, yes, it is easy... Once you figure it out. Unfortunately, mine only came with one line, simple picture, instructions on the back of the box.
I'm a tech baby and consider myself very tech savvy but I could not figure out how to actually take the picture. Assembly is a breeze, but to me, the instructions were not clear on if I needed an app to connect and/or what the blue tooth connection was. I was looking for "ken gadget" or something indicating a camera/selfie stick when searching for it on my phone. Finally, I figured out the Blue tooth connection was actually the model number "ZO7-5"
Unfortunately, this took a while, and again, was a bit frustrating, but once connected it was EXTREMELY easy to use. Also, it's very lightweight and portable. Therefore, overall I feel it is a good product as it did its job well, I just wish the set up wasn't so confusing and drawn out.
